The cup on the left is a large. The cup on the right is a medium. Neither would match up to their size back home. The large is easily a small or medium back home, and the medium is a child size.
It's something that I don't mind, it just surprised me. Sometimes I wonder how old I am, because I was very excited when I realized that you got bendy straws. I also found that size differences did not just apply to cup sizes, but also to fries.

After finishing eating, we ran to catch the train!
The thing I found most surprising, was the way to get down to the train. You didn't have escalators, or elevators. Well, they might have elevators, but we didn't use one. We used a GIANT conveyor belt. I guess that may not be the best description, but I have pictures that might explain it better.

This was us, walking towards the conveyor belt.
While we were on the belt. It was super steep, I was kind of scared that I was going to fall.

After getting down to the bottom, we realized that we had to hurry up and jump on the train, or we would have missed it! So we hopped on, and walked back to our seats. It was different, because the train had started moving while we were walking, so I was just trying not to crash my stuff into people. Finally, we got to our seats, and sat down, and relaxed for about an hour and a half, then we hopped of that train, and waited for our connecting train. Our connecting train was a bit different than the first train, it went a bit slower, and there was more room! After another 10 minutes we were finally here! Växjö is beautiful. It was nice to just be able to get to his house and sleep some. I was exhausted.
I took a nap for a while, then took a shower, and finally went down to meet the rest of the family! Everyone was so friendly. It's wonderful! I felt so welcome! I love his family's house! Its pretty much what I imagine my house to be one day, just filled with things from other countries, and art, and it's just very cozy. After meeting the family and getting an official tour of the house, I took another nap. Traveling is exhausting. I came downstairs a bit later to smell something cooking! It smelled divine! We were having Swedish meatballs, and mashed potatoes for dinner! I was very excited! I wish I would have thought to get pictures! I didn't though. I just ate it up. By the time I did think to get pictures, the food was already in my stomach! It was delicious. Everything was home made. and I just was very impressed, and very delighted! After digesting dinner, I went to bed. I think the time change didn't help any.
That was my first official day! I love Sweden so far, and I don't think that is going to change!
